ISO9001:2008 and the Quality Standard
Turners first obtained the international quality standard ISO9001:2008 accreditation in 1994 through the elimination of waste and the documentation of all processes.
Since then there have been many updates and today Turners manufacture to ISO9001:2008 standard.
This accreditation is externally audited by EQA on a yearly basis to ensure that the system is being maintained, monitored and encouraged across all areas of our production and administration workflows.
The quality standard not only provides our organisation with a solid operational foundation but provides security to our clients that we can deliver upon our promises. Our systems are robust yet flexible and constantly under the spotlight of improvement. We are constantly endeavouring to fine tune our systems to allow for better efficiency, better productivity and higher quality.
ISO14001:2004 and the Environmental Standard
Our systems don’t just stop at quality. In 2012 we gained accreditation to ISO14001:2004, the International Environmental Standard.
This ensures that all our production processes, and the way we work, has as small an environmental footprint as possible.
This was a proud achievement for all the team, at Turners.
ISO12647-2 and the Colour Standard
We print to ISO12647-2 standard supported by Bodoni colour management software.
Bodoni is a comprehensive colour management system designed to achieve and maintain colour standards across multiple printing presses and proofing devices.
Our investment in Bodoni is proof of world best standards, and for our clients it means absolute confidence in our ability to produce print media, to a broadly accepted International standard.
FSC® and PEFC Chain of Custody
In 2009 we obtained FSC® and PEFC COC certification. This certification is valid pending annual audit requirements. We support the principles of the Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®) and the Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC) and are pleased to have achieved certification. Chain of custody certification is a timber and timber products traceability system that ensures that certified products come from a well managed source.
You too can support sustainable and ethical forestry management by requesting FSC® or PEFC certified paper or card, for your next printed job.
